). Pelosa beach lies on the northwestern cape of Sardine . Nearby, on the left from this view, the Pelosa watchtower stands.
In the background (north) there are two islands - Piano and Asinine. These are natural preserves and scientists only are allowed to enter.
They are inhabited by rare albino donkeys and wild boars. The islands are mountainous, rocky and dry, as there is no source of fresh water.
The Pelosa beach is quite well know and it´s ideal for families with small children - no waves + you must go really far from the shore until the water reaches your waist. But you must come quite early or later in the afternoon, otherwise you will park pretty far from the main beach. The parking is charged, the parking machines accept cards too, but did not accept none of my cards from Slovakia or UK . So, bring some coins, just in case :-)
This photo was taken 8 PM, leaving from the beach. For a screaming turquoise color of water (after which is the beach known) you must come before or at noon.
